We are living in a world where everything is on its fast track. Almost everyone wants to fit in the world so we adapt ourselves to the changes revolving around us. With these, we also face circumstances beyond our expectations. The modernization has changed the kind of life we have as well as the way we approach it. Let's admit our behavior, beliefs and traditions are also in transition.
Our society is facing various issues that are still unresolved and one is the rising number of teenage pregnancies. Meet Caitlin Jean Lehmann, an ordinary teenager whose life changed when she got pregnant at the age of 13. She gave birth to baby Anthony when she was 14. At a very young age, Caitlin was clueless of the proper upbringing of her baby since she was a child herself. Her mom who happened to undergo teenage pregnancy as well became one of her support systems.
The father of her baby was also too young to take responsibilities. He visits his son every weekend. As for Caitlin, she is finishing her high school in St Joseph's Education Center, an institution dedicated to help teenage mothers. The students can bring their kids and the institution's trained staffs look after them as their mothers study. Then, during recess and lunch time, the mothers can feed and play with their kids.

Her story is a good example to kids and teenagers who are on the rush to take adult things and responsibilities. They should be reminded to enjoy their childhood first because it's something that we can't undo.
