Finally, the long wait is over for Manny Pacquaio and Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight. After six years of public demand, at last Mayweather called out a fight to Manny on May 2, 2015, the Cinco de Mayo weekend where Floyd usually fights and a bankable time in Vegas. Mayweather revealed this in an interview on US network Showtime. He claimed that he is now ready to fight, "We are ready. Let's make it happen. May 2. Mayweather versus Manny Pacquiao. Let's do it!" He even clarified that he is not ducking or dodging any opponent but it was Bob Arum who was stopping the fight.

Mayweather vs. Pacquiao

Mayweather left a remarkable statement when he said, "I know that he's not on my level. The fans would love to see the fight. And, of course, I want to go out with a bang. So let's make this fight happen. Manny Pacquiao, Bob Arum, you guys have been ducking us for years. We're tired of you guys fooling the public, fooling the critics."
