A number of criminals would say they engage into illegal things, for they are unemployed and want to feed their families but of course we know that the end doesn't justify the means. But here is an unusual crime that a 90 year old man did in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: large;">Arnold Abbott the head of a group Love Thy Neighbor and together with Rev. Mark Sims, of St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church in Coral Springs, and the Rev. Dwayne Black, pastor of The Sanctuary Church in Fort Lauderdale were arrested for violating the new city ordinance in Florida which is prohibiting the citizens on outdoor feeding. The law states that feeding programs should have permits and should be 50 feet away from residential areas. Plus, they have to provide a portable toilet. They were caught by the police officers giving away free foods to the homeless in Stranahan Park. Abott was charged a $500 fine and 60 days of imprisonment. The bystanders shouted to the police officers “Shame on you!” out of anger.</span><br />

He sued the city back in 1999 for banning him from feeding the homeless on the beach and he won against it. This time he voiced out that he wasn't afraid to be back in the court and will continue to feed the poor. In an interview with NBC News, Abbott said "These are the poorest of the poor, they have nothing, and they don’t have a roof over their heads. How do you turn them away? I don’t do things to purposefully aggravate the situation. I’m trying to work with the city. Any human has the right to help his fellow man."</span><br />

<span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: large;">Meanwhile the Mayor Jack Seiler said, “I’m not satisfied with having a cycle of homeless in city of Fort Lauderdale. Other cities including Los Angeles, Dallas, Phoenix, Seattle, and Philadelphia are considering to have this law as well.</span><br />

The government may have a point in making their community homeless free, but to jail the few good Samaritans for reaching out to the less fortunate is so unjust. The world needs a lot of people like Abbott. Yes, the government has the right to implement laws to maintain peace and orderliness in the society, but helping the poor is never a crime. The government must focus more on implementing laws that will uplift the welfare of the poor and laws that will punish the corrupt leaders of our nations.</span><br />

It was an ordinary day for customer <b>Devorise Dixon</b>. He simply ordered a box of chicken meal from a KFC branch in Wilmington, California.<br />

He immediately noticed the chicken had a strange shape but didn’t give it much attention, thinking it was just breaded chicken breast.<br />

However, things took an interesting twist from there. Here’s Devorise describing the experience:<br />

"As I bit into it I noticed that it was very hard and rubbery which made me look at it. As I looked down at it I noticed that it was in a shape of a rat with a tail.”<br />
<br />
Naturally, he was disgusted. "It sent deep chills throughout my whole body! I’ve been feeling weird ever since. It's time for a lawyer!" he mentioned on the caption of the pictures he posted online.<br />

<span style="font-size: large;">In the description of the uploaded video in YouTube by Rowden’s brother Hasset Go, he said that Rowden and Leizl decided to tie the knot on July 8, 2014 on Rowden's 30th birthday.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Unfortunately in late May, Rowden was diagnosed with stage IV liver cancer. His last request was to marry Leizl. With the help of the family members and Philippine General Hospital for allowing the unusual event to take place Rowden's dream has come to life.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">It was a 12 hour preparation according to Hasset. And due to Rowden's condition they decided to bring the wedding in the hospital. In the introduction of the video, a bouquet of flower was shown in the venue (Philippine General Hospital).While they are preparing the bride they were as well preparing Rowden in his hospital bed.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">They brought him in the hospital's corridor where his smiling bride was marching together with their 2 year old daughter towards him. Despite of his difficulty, Rowden was happily staring at his bride while they were exchanging their vows.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Everybody was crying during the ceremony and many times Rowden was seen very weak. Liezl gave her husband the final kiss and they had the usual after wedding photo-shoot. The priceless happiness of Rowden radiated in his eyes. His families and friends were so happy to witness and fulfill his final wish.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">On June 11, 2014, 10 hours after the wedding, <b>Rowden passed away</b>. But he carried a valuable memory in his deathbed.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">The team went to New York City and had a social experiment to see how people will really react. One of their team members acted as the homeless guy while the rest of the group took turns becoming thieves.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">The first “thief” was the girl and, as you will see on this clip, most people simply stood by and watched her walk away with the money. In more than an hour, there was only one man who had the courage to stop her.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">The second half of the video shows us the rest of the guys switching roles as thieves and fortunately, we see more reactions to the act. The first man repeatedly exclaimed “Put that back right now!” after seeing the crook took the money from the homeless guy’s can. Others called the thief’s attention out loud while some even managed to stop the running thief.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">At those points, the team revealed (a bit quickly, at that) that they are simply filming a social experiment, commending the “heroes” for doing a good job, even telling some of them that “We need more people like you.” </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">While it is definitely nice to see that some good people stood up for a poor homeless dude, it’s still kinda heartbreaking that many chose to “look the other way” when the crime was done by a girl. That tells a lot about our society right now and that’s just so sad.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Hopefully, this video managed to deliver its main message: If you see something, say something.</span><br />

Hello Happiness of Coca Cola has been the talk of the town recently. They featured a touching ad that showcased a short documentary about blue collared workers in United Arab Emirates. They are migrant workers who are said to earn $6 per day. They have to be separated from the comfort of their homes & family to venture greener pasture.<br />

The concept of Hello Happiness of Coca Cola was to give little joy for the workers in UAE by connecting them to their families through a phone call. It cost them almost a dollar to make a phone call home, so communicating with their families is a rare chance.<br />
<br />
Coca Cola with the help of Y&R Dubai created phone booths that are operated by using plastic caps of Coke bottles. Each cap is equivalent to 3 minute international call. The booths were placed in labor camps. Days after, men in coverall and hard hats were seen lining up patiently, wearing their excited faces. The smiles they had while talking on the phone only showed how these brave workers longed to be with their families.<br />

Whatever motive Coca Cola has for bringing these ad, Hello Happiness telephone booths have somehow made a difference for our modern day heroes.<br />
